Due to overwhelming response (thank you!!!) I am getting this new design live right away! This dress has similar attributes to our classic Gwendolyn style, but the Lauren will be known for having even MORE modularity.
DETAILS: Tie closures at the back (similar to Gwendolyn) as well as tie closures at the straps will enable people of all bust sizes to adjust the garment to their fit needs. For woven: it is anything we can do to make more fit range possible in this way! The square neckline is tremendously regal, and the baby doll cut with a gathered skirt can be tied to lay at the natural waist line, or a bit higher (as seen on me) to fall right below the bust. The skirt is pretty free-size and a-line through the hips, of course with pockets at the side teams!
APPLIQUE: My inspiration for this particular version of this dress is Patchwork appliqué. By taking an existing vintage quilt topper, I am able to imbue each dress with a one-of-a-kind starburst across the bust. The colors are all very muted and neutral to fit the overall 1970s Bohemian vibe of the dress, but each one will be different! Also feel free to tell me if you want the midi skirt cut a bit shorter ;)
