When it comes to supporting local apparel companies, it is incredibly important to shed light on the conception and birth of the products they sell to their consumers. Make It Good apparel is one of these American companies that puts its value in the process of which their pieces are made. A line of basics for men and women, founded in 2011, this company creates artistically directed apparel with hand printed details birthed in their own small factory here in Portland, OR.

Not only are these products cut, printed, and sewn in Portland, but their prints are designed in house, they employ fibers and dyes that are organic, and most of all, their textiles are domestically sourced. Not only does this company uphold their own ethical fashion, but their methods of producing definitely ensure the utmost attention to all facets of ethical sourcing.

In addition, their clothing is INCREDIBLY cute.

Perfect for everyday wear, especially with our hot Summer approaching, many of their dresses are made with luscious, lightweight 100% cupro. I really love this material because of its breathability, even texture, cool touch and lustrous softness. My personal favorite pieces currently available in our shop are the Eclipse Cross Strap Slip Dresses in Black and Lavender. They are comfortable, fit beautifully, and will have you looking Portland chic on the street with its t-length and aline cut. The prints are definitely a trademark design, so be sure to jump on this bandwagon and snatch one of these dresses before we sell out!
