A new addition to our expanding serpent collection, we are welcoming the Serpent Guardian Ring to Dea Dia. An often maligned species, we find beauty in the powerful serpent. The shedding of the skin represents rebirth, renewal and transformation which are favorite themes of Dea Dia designer & owner, Jessica Lawson. They make the perfect totem or guardian!
This ring was first sculpted by hand in wax in our high desert studio (home to many snakes, the desert - not the studio!) before being cast in recycled metals in DTLA. The Serpent Guardian Ring is available in recycled brass, sterling silver, gold plated brass or solid 14k gold. The sterling silver, gold plated and 14k styles are made to order and may take a couple of weeks to ship.This ring is one size and adjustable but please leave your ring size at checkout so we can size it accordingly.
Please note, our brass is a mixture of 75% copper and 25% zinc and is lead and nickel free. Many people experience green discoloring on their skin from brass. This is due to the metals mixing with your particular oils and ph levels. This reaction is harmless and will wash off.
If you don't like the discoloration, we suggest you order gold plated, sterling silver or solid gold. To minimize the discoloration from brass, you can periodically paint the inside of your brass ring with clear nail polish or lacquer, avoid mixing with moisture and sweat, and and take off before going to bed or applying lotions or oils.
