Sterling silver band and bezel with 14k gold details. Genuine Australian doublet opal.

The band is sterling silver. Sterling silver is a beautiful metal that has been used to create jewelry for centuries! It’s important to note that 925 sterling silver will tarnish over time.

There are a few things you can do to prevent and polish your silver:

-Avoid using harsh chemicals, perfumes, and lotions directly on your silver jewelry. This can cause an adverse reaction with could lead to tarnishing and discoloration.

-Polishing cloths and pastes are easy to come by, however, baking soda and warm water is a simple and effective way to remove some surface tarnish.

-Always store your silver jewelry in an airtight bag when you are not wearing it, this will slow the tarnishing process.

The details are 14k gold. If cared for properly, 14k gold can keep its shiny luster for a lifetime! 14K gold is the industry standard for bridal and fine jewelry.

It’s important to keep in mind a few care tips to keep your jewelry looking like new:

-Always remove your gold jewelry when coming into contact with chlorine or bleach, these chemicals can break down the metals overtime.

-If you notice your jewelry looking dull or dirty, you can soak them in warm water and little bit of dish soap for about 15 minutes. After you remove it from the water, you can gently brush the gemstones and settings with a soft-bristled tooth brush to remove dirt and residue.

-When you aren’t wearing your 14k gold jewelry you should put your pieces in small plastic bags and store in a dry place.
