Talisman Fine Jewelry is a collection of sculptural, sustainably-made fine jewelry that evokes an abstract, modernist sensibility with a decidedly ancient feel. Designed by former Goldyn boutique owner Vanessa Barcus, the line is entirely handmade using old world lost-wax casting techniques in recycled 14k gold. Although designed as heirloom jewelry for everyday wear, the pieces each have a strikingly substantial look.

The word “metanoia” is defined as a ‘transformative change of heart, or spiritual conversion.’ This sculptural, entirely handmade chain was certainly a transformative piece to make, requiring upwards of 100 hours to sculpt, cast, and finish. That creative energy is imbued within each link of the chain.
