Inspired by Georgian-era Lover's Eye jewelry, this ring features an original drypoint etching of an eye, sealed and set under a flat natural clear quartz stone and bordered by a ring of granulation. Stylized leaf shapes extend from the rounded band into the shoulders of the ring, opening at the top to frame the granulated border. I hand-pulled each print from a copper plate with a miniature etching press using gray 100% cotton rag paper and black Akua soy-based intaglio ink. Because the print is sealed with jeweler's epoxy, this ring can be considered water-resistant. However, I recommend removing it when spending extended periods in water, such as bathing or swimming. This ring will be a limited edition of 25, cast in either solid 10k gold or sterling silver that has been partially oxidized. I'll be selling 10 rings on October 1st, 2022 and the remaining 15 later this fall! sterling silver: $185 10k gold: $705 Print and stone measure 9x11mm. ***Please mention your US ring size (5 - 15 including 1/2 and 1/4 sizes) in the notes section during checkout!*** ~
