Inverted Torch necklace in sterling silver

Found in Victorian-era cemeteries, the inverted torch symbolized the eternal life of the soul upon the death of the body. This heavy, three dimensional piece was hand carved in wax and cast in solid sterling silver that has been partially oxidized to enhance the details. It hangs on a heavy, patterned sterling silver chain.
